The Big Cambridge Survey

The Big Cambridge Survey is an annual research project undertaken by CUSU that seeks to gather statistics on a broad range of issues relevant to Cambridge University students. They use this information to develop campaigns designed to address key issues on behalf of the student body.
In my position as Design and Communications Coordinator, I was involved in this project from beginning to end. I refreshed the branding for the project and designed all of the promotional materials. We used our website, social media (including targeted social media ads), all-student bulletins, and digital screens to promote the project. Print materials included posters and drink mats that we delivered to Cambridge colleges, faculties, and other student areas.
We encouraged Cambridge students to fill out the survey by offering attractive prizes, including two Little Mix tickets and a £100 cash prize. We also awarded £100 to the college that had the highest percentage of students participate in the survey.
